PLT1000 Software

The PLT1000 software is a simple, GUI (Graphical User Interface) that provides all the necessary functions of typical integrated circuit test systems. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Spreadsheet fill-in-the-numbers programming
• Resource-to-DUT-pin allocations using drop-down boxes
• Branch controls, like programmable sequencing, ramp
   generation, etc
• Debugging tools like skipping tests and pausing on a
   test
• Vector bursting, looping, and branching
• Datalogging and summary sheets in Excel format
• … And many, many other user-friendly functions

The programmer's interface is based on the intuitive spreadsheet model. This allows fast and simple program generation and debugging. Cut-and-paste functions are used to churn out similar tests in seconds. Details are hidden, but easily accessible by simple double-clicking a spreadsheet cell.

Spreadsheet:

On the spreadsheet, each row is a test. Each column is either a DUT pin, or other user-programmable information like Test Name, Min & Max spec limits, etc

Double-clicking a cell in the spreadsheet will open the appropriate dialog box. For example, double-clicking the "Base" DUT pin column in the "HFE" test row will open the VI-Source dialog box. In this case, a ramp test is performed.

During testing, the results may be viewed at a glance in real-time. The numbers in the "Results" column below will be displayed in red, with a red "FAIL" in the textbox at the lower right. A horizontally arranged Result display that mimics the datalog format is also available.
