With the PLT1000 semiconductor test system, Production Line Testers has what may be the fastest, most reliable, and lowest cost solution for testing low-to-medium complexity integrated circuits. Similar to the TMT ASL-1000, the PLT1000 has a test head capable of supporting up to 15 instrument cards, while keeping the space requirements to a minimum. Choose from more than a dozen instruments, including vector-based digital I/O, multi-channel VI-sources, +/-5A current source, picoammeter, time-interval analyzer, etc.

The intuitive GUI software offers easy form-based programming. Specs and conditions are simply plugged into a spreadsheet. Ramp tests and looping are included, with a quick curve-tracing graph useful during debug. But the real value is in production, where literally more than a thousand tests per second may be achieved. Integrated circuit testing was previously dominated by multi-bay monoliths, which required months of training and meters of floorspace. The entire PLT1000 fits on, under, or suspended from the prober/handler, even enough space could be found in a junior engineer's messy cubicle to place it.
