IC100 CONFIGURATIONS

 

Mainframe Configuration:
The Mainframe houses a standard PC computer and the system power supplies.

The computer consists of an Intel processor, 1G RAM, and 100G hard disk (As of Q1, 2007. These specs are frequently upgraded). There are 2 USB ports on the front panel, and 4 on the rear panel.

The power supplies include two 27VDC, two 15VDC, and one 5VDC supplies that are switched on through a solid-state relay when the front panel pushbutton is pressed to turn on the computer. The computer power supply is only used for the computer. Digital ground and Analog ground are tied at CB0, in Slot 1 in the test head.

Test Head Configuration:
The Test Head includes an 8-slot card cage, with a custom backplane. Cards are inserted from the rear, after removing the bottom panel. The backplane is at the top of the test head box, with the loadboard connecting directly to the backplane connectors.
